• Pointing the nozzle at someone: The high-pressure water stream can cause serious injury or even death if it hits someone in the face or chest.
• Not wearing proper eye and ear protection: The high-pressure water stream can cause damage to the eyes and ears if proper protection is not worn.
• Not properly securing the hose: If the hose is not properly secured, it can whip around and cause injury to the person using the pressure washer or to others nearby.
• Using a pressure washer on an unstable surface: If the person using the pressure washer is standing on an unstable surface, they could slip or fall, causing injury.
• Not properly maintaining the pressure washer: If the pressure washer is not properly maintained, it could malfunction and cause injury.
• Using a pressure washer on electrical equipment, or near electrical sources, without making sure everything is properly grounded and isolated.
• Using the pressure washer for cleaning chemicals or flammable liquids, which can cause an explosion or fire hazard.
