Question; When I receive my pump will the unloader have the pressure preset?

• The unloader is not set exactly. 
• The factory uses a default setting that is close to the performance of the 4000psi pump.

• It is not a dependable default setting. 
• Please always check the oil level and start the unloader in the counter-clockwise setting until you can test the system. 

• You can increase the pressure by manually turning the adjustment knob clockwise until you reach the desired load on the engine. 
• Do not exceed 4200psi.

Then look at the threads most are threaded on both sides, Male x male are the most common.

Usually they fail when the soap is left to dry inside the mechanism. Most of the time they can be resurrected by disassembling and cleaning off the dried soap and then reassembling.

The spring inside can be easily lost when you take it apart.

It’s a good practice to rinse with clean water after each use to avoid the soap build up that dries and causes the spring, o-ring and ball to seize up.
