the pump has been over-pressurized

leaking means the pump has been over-pressurized

-What you show as leaking means the pump has been over-pressurized and is probably not repairable. -

-Over-pressurized means the adjustable knob on the top was turned clockwise beyond the pump's capacity.

-Specifically which model number do you have, or horsepower of the motor or label on the top of the pump.

system of seals and valves

Seals and Valves

A pressure washer relies on a system of seals and valves to control and direct the flow of water from the inlet to the pump, then to the outlet and the cleaning nozzle. When the water seals are in good condition, they provide a strong barrier that prevents water from leaking into the oil chamber of the pump.

However, as the water seals wear out – due to general wear and tear, aging, corrosion, or improper maintenance – they can start creating small gaps or cracks. When this happens, water can start to seep through these gaps and mix with the oil in the oil chamber. This can lead to water contamination in the oil, which can further degrade the pump's performance.

Pump oil must remain pure and free from contaminants to lubricate the moving parts effectively. Once water enters the oil chamber, it reduces the oil's lubricating properties, leading to increased friction, overheating, and potentially, serious damage to the pump mechanism. Hence, it's advised to regularly inspect and replace the water seals when necessary to ensure the pressure washer's optimal performance.

An Annovi Reverberi (AR) pressure washer pump is a high-quality, high-pressure pump that is specifically designed for use in pressure washers. The Annovi Reverberi brand is well known for producing durable, reliable pumps that are leaders in both residential and commercial use. The ceramic plunger pumps are made of durable materials such as brass, aluminium alloy, stainless steel, and they are designed to withstand high pressures and high flow rates, making them suitable for a wide range of cleaning tasks. AR pumps commercial triplex plunger pumps which is design that have 3 pistons moving in and out in a cylinder, that's why they are known for their durability, 93% volumetric efficiency and long lifespan. AR pump packages thoughtfully include an adjustable pressure unloading valve, that allows the user to manually change the pressure at which the pump operates, depending on the cleaning task at hand. This feature can help prolong the life of the pump, avoid damaging the cleaning surface and make it more versatile. All horizontal complete pump packages feature a thermal relief valve that helps prevent the pump from overheating, stainless steel inlet filter, and mounting bolts. These safety features important for preventing damage to the pump and prolonging its lifespan. Overall, Annovi Reverberi pressure washer pumps are known for their durability, reliability, and versatility. They are widely used in various type of pressure washing applications and are a great choice for both residential and commercial use and trouble free operation

Here are a few tips on how to maintain a pressure washer triplex pump:

A pressure washer triplex pump is an important component of a pressure washing system, as it generates the high-pressure water flow that is used to clean surfaces. Proper maintenance of the pump is crucial to ensure that it continues to function effectively and to prolong its lifespan. Here are a few tips on how to maintain a pressure washer triplex pump:

Pressure washers Pumps

1. Keep the pump lubricated: Triplex pumps rely on oil to lubricate the moving parts and to help dissipate heat. It is important to check the oil level regularly and to add oil as needed. The type of oil used in the pump should be specified in the owner's manual, and it should be a high-quality oil designed for use in pressure washer pumps.

2. Flush the pump after each use: To prevent debris and other contaminants from building up in the pump, it is important to flush it out with clean water after each use. To do this, simply run the pressure washer for a few minutes with the nozzle removed and the water supply turned off. This will force any debris out of the pump and help to prevent damage.

3. Keep the inlet water filter clean: A dirty water filter can restrict water flow, causing the pump to work harder than it should. This can lead to reduced performance and increased wear. To keep the inlet water filter clean, inspect it regularly, and clean or replace it as needed.

4. Check for leaks: Leaks in the pump can allow water and oil to escape, which can lead to damage and reduced performance. Inspect the pump and hoses regularly for any signs of leaks, and repair or replace any parts that are found to be leaking.

5. Store the pressure washer properly: When not in use, it is important to store the pressure washer in a dry place, protected from the elements. This will help to prevent rust and other forms of damage.

By following these tips, you can help ensure that your pressure washer triplex pump continues to function properly and lasts for many years. It's also important to read the manufacturer manual guide and follow the recommended schedule for more specific maintenance and troubleshooting procedure if needed.
